The new facility, approximately 16,641 square feet, will replace the existing 50 to 60-year-old buildings with modern housing, giving the organization the ability to now house 16 families. This project underscores Shiloh Place\u2019s commitment to providing much-needed support to single mothers striving for financial stability and independence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled about the expansion of Shiloh Place, which will enable us to support more families in Collin County,\u201d said Dr. Eppy Thern, chief executive officer, Shiloh Place. \u201cThis new project is a testament to our dedication to creating lasting change by providing a hand up to single mothers who are striving to end the cycle of poverty. We are honored to have Moss Construction as our partner and cannot thank them enough for their expertise and commitment to our ministry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shiloh Place\u2019s mission is to equip single mothers with financial independence and personal wholeness by addressing their physical, educational, emotional and spiritual needs enabling them to become productive members of the workforce and their community. Moss Construction, the general contractor on the Shiloh Place housing development, is doing its part to support Shiloh Place by proudly donating its project fee to the organization as part of its commitment to giving back to the DFW market and McKinney and helping others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAt Moss Construction, we believe that our responsibility extends far beyond the buildings we construct. The apartments surround an outdoor area that includes green space and playgrounds for the children.
